On August 8, 2024, Jia Bingjun, Director of the International Business Department of China Datang Corporation?Ltd.?and Chairman of China Datang Overseas Investment Co.,Ltd., visited?Jurabek Mirzamakhmutov, Minister of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan, and the two sides had in-depth exchanges on the photovoltaic and wind power projects and cooperation in new energy field of China Datang in Uzbekistan.

Jurabek Mirzamakhmutov?fully affirmed energy development work of China Datang in Uzbekistan, and said that the Uzbekistan government highly recognized and supported the promotion of current photovoltaic and wind power projects?of China Datang, and hoped that both sides would further expand cooperation fields?while promoting the implementation of existing projects as soon as possible, so as to?write a new chapter of win-win cooperation.

Jia Bingjun said that Uzbekistan?is a key national market for China Datang. With the deepening of the "Belt and Road" initiative, he hoped that the two sides would further strengthen cooperation in the fields of new energy?plus, energy conservation and environmental protection, constantly innovate cooperation modes, expand cooperation space, and jointly create a new situation of high-quality development of mutual benefit?and win-win,?so as to contribute to the new situation of friendship and strategic relationship between the two countries.

?Jia Bingjun pointed out that China Datang is a large-scale power generation enterprise, with investment, construction and operation of power supply projects as its core business. Its overseas business scope now covers more than 10 countries and regions around the world, providing power supply, operation and maintenance services and technical support for Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia and other countries, continuously promoting green energy transformation and serving local economic development. Central Asia, especially Uzbekistan, is an important country for China Datang Overseas Investment?Co.,Ltd., the two sides have a good foundation for energy and power cooperation,?and hope to further deepen practical cooperation on the basis of existing projects, refine various measures, and promote the construction of a new pattern of long-term and stable energy cooperation.
