On March 4, 2024, Jia Bingjun, the Chairman, and CEO of China Datang Overseas Investment Co., Ltd., met with Nguyen Dinh Hai, the Director of Vietnam Electricity Corporation (EVN)'s Power Generation Corporation 2 (GENCO2), and his delegation. During this meeting, both parties engaged in substantive discussions regarding collaboration on international projects.

Mr. Le Quoc Vu, the Deputy General Director of GENCO2, and Li Deyong, the Vice President of China Datang Overseas Investment Co., Ltd., were present at the meeting.

Jia Bingjun provided an overview of China Datang's overseas operations and proposed models for project collaboration. He indicated that the two parties could explore further collaboration in various sectors, including renewable energy, marine wind power, technical services, carbon trading, and other projects specific to individual countries, with the aim of jointly advancing project development in the Vietnamese region.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hai provided an overview of the operations of Power Generation Corporation 2 and emphasized the significance of the collaboration between the two entities. He detailed the Vietnamese electricity policies and opportunities for cooperation of interest to China Datang Overseas Investment Co., Ltd., suggesting that leveraging the distinct strengths of both entities could significantly enhance the comprehensive development of energy resources.

Officials from the administrative office, department of investment development, department of safety production, and the Vietnamese representative office of China Datang Overseas Investment Co., Ltd., also participated in the discussions.
