Cambodian power grid company conducts local staff training

Since its independent operation and maintenance at the beginning of the year, Cambodia Power Grid Co., Ltd. has been actively exploring and promoting a new production and operation mode of "autonomy and localization". By the end of May, the localization rate of production personnel will reach 48%. In order to further improve the production skills and safety awareness of Cambodian employees, and accelerate the growth of Cambodian employees, Cambodian Power Grid company has vigorously carried out the training of Cambodian employees on daily basis.

Cambodian Power Grid company has taken a number of measures in terms of training methods, reward and incentive mechanisms, training courses, etc.

Their first approach is to change the previous training mode of "Language first, business later" into a mode of "Language and business training are carried out together". The second approach is the combination of theory and practice. In combination with regular inspection and defect elimination, work tasks are clearly defined in advance, operation tickets are written, system diagrams are drawn, and computer simulation is carried out. Cambodian staff operate, Chinese staff supervise, and management personnel stand on-site. This mode rapidly improved the practical ability of Cambodian employees. The third approach is to make career planning, formulate the salary system for Cambodian employees and stimulate the vitality and motivation of Cambodian employees. Fourth, formulate a study plan, sign a master apprentice agreement, organize monthly examinations, and promote learning through examinations. Fifthly, adapt measures to local conditions and teach students according to their aptitude. The training content integrates local teaching materials. We should purchase and distribute textbooks such as "brief introduction to substation equipment" and "Fundamentals of substation production safety" prepared by EDC of the Ministry of electricity of Cambodia to in accordance with Cambodian power grid dispatching requirements. By the end of April, 4 Cambodian employees had taken up their posts independently, which fully reflected the training efficiency.

Cambodian Power Grid company will build a learning and growth platform for the growth of Cambodian employees, constantly promote the integration of Chinese and Cambodian cultures, actively explore ways and measures to cultivate talents on the job.
