At 09:27 on May 12th, Class A overhaul of Unit 1 of Myanmar Dapein I HPP was completed and officially adjusted. Various indicators after the overhaul were better than those before the overhaul, which was successfully completed 10 days ahead of schedule.

Class A overhaul of Unit 1 faces the impact of various factors such as epidemic control, turbulence in Myanmar, fewer maintenance personnel, difficult maintenance, and undiminished items. The maintenance personnel overcome various difficulties and spent 80 days completing the replacement of the runner, top cover, bottom ring and other severely worn water components for the first time on their own. They also completed the replacement of the cooler of each guide bearing of the unit，water turbine air shroud replacement, main shaft seal renovation and installation, disassembly and repair of each guide bearing, electrical equipment repair and pre-testing, etc., making sure Class A overhaul was smoothly completed.
